We are here to help, not judge.
Adults
Every adult cat through our door is FIV and FeLV tested, we then treat for fleas, and worms. They are accessed for temperament and nature, de sexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated before we find that perfect home.
Kittens
Kittens are brought into care treated for fleas and worms. They are accessed for social skills and exposed to the normal busy household they are hoping to find for themselves. They will be de sexed, microchip and have their first vaccination before they go to their new homes.
Community De sexing
We offer at cost de-sexing for cats, while other rescues may do cheaper we are happy to point you to who can help the best for your situation.
For Mama Cats and unwanted Kittens.
Kitty Haven have a de sex program where we de sex mama cat at no cost to you.
So you know how it works.
You sign the whole litter of kittens over to us> From that point we take full responsibility for their care and welfare.
We support you and mama cat where ever we can. Once Kittens are 8 weeks old they come into our care. At this time we can give you a voucher to take to an agreed vet to get you mama cat de-sexed at no cost to you.
Or
We book her into our vets. The night before her surgery, we come and pick her up look after her overnight.
This makes sure she does not eat for the needed time for safe anesthetic.
We get her de-sexed the next day; we then return her to you that afternoon /evening. She is away from home less than 24 hours.
The kittens signed into our care are de sexed, vaccinated. Micro-chipped when old enough and found the perfect home for them.
