Milly

This spunky girl is five years old,

She loves being outside and is a hunter when given the chance. Likes to leave presents on the doorstep so if your Squamish she may not be the girl for you.

She isn’t a fan of kids but will tolerate those she knows.

She is used to small dogs.

She is shy around strangers but once she knows you she can be very smoochy but on her terms.

She is finding the rescue overwhelming and will sometimes lash out if rushed.

She needs a quiet home with no other cats.

Will tolerate a respectful dog.

She is de-sexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm prevention.

It is the time of year when we have a lot of kittens in care

BUT

They are still growing, you will need to be patent as we need these kittens to be big enough to be de-sexed, Healthy enough to be rehomed and up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatments BEFORE we list them on the website.

We do not pre adopt.

We do not have a waiting list.

You just need to check in from time to time here or watch them all grow up on the Facebook page.

Just please be patient with us.

Skoda

Skoda is a very special kitty with Special needs, she has Cerebellar hypoplasia which is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious. It is also known as wobbles.

She is very uncoordinated in the back end, while she can climb she can not back down or jump so usually gravity gets her down. She needs a single story, indoor only home without high cat trees or climbable things.

She was an orphan who has been bottle fed since 2 and a half weeks old so is very people focused. She isn’t worried about dogs but you need to make sure she doesn’t get under them.

When calm She can be reasonably stable on her movements but when excited she is all over the place and it can be hard to watch, She eats well, drinks well and is fantastic at using a litter box. You can not have top entry litter boxes or covered trays with a flap door.

We will be very careful where she goes as she is a very special wee soul who needs a home that understands this.

No Children, no other pets.

( unless its one she already knows from here)

De-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with worm and flea prevention.

Torbie

This shy timid girl was born in February.

She happily plays and hangs out with you once she knows you but is still very hesitant about being picked up and cuddled. This will improve with time and once trust has been built.

She needs a quiet understanding home.

She is de-sexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm prevention.

Torbie Girl

Torbie girl is 4 years old, she is a sweet natured girl how is finding her feet fast here at the rescue. She is a little shy when she firsts meets someone but is quick to come around with a few soft words and a treat.

She is fine with the other cats here and enjoys time outside in the catio as much as tucking in somewhere small for a nap.

She would prefer a quiet home with kids over 10.

De-sexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with worm and flea prevention.

Lola

This sweet girl was left with us unexpectedly when her family went overseas.

We do not have a lot of information about her other than she is around 4, but she seems a quiet undemanding shy girl who will thrive away from our chaos.

She is de-sexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm prevention.

De-sex Program

Kitty Haven have a de sex program where we de sex mama cat at no cost to you.

So you know how it works.

You sign the kittens over to us, from that point we take full responsibility for their care and welfare.

We support you and mama cat where ever we can. Once Kittens are 8 weeks old they come into our care.

We then give you a voucher to book her into our vets at Tram Road Animal Care Services.

This booking must be done within 10 days of the voucher being issued, and the de-sexing done within 6 weeks this prevents any other unwanted pregnancy’s.

The kittens signed into our care are de sexed, vaccinated. Micro chipped when old enough and found the perfect home for them.                              *Terms and conditions apply*

.

So grateful to have help this year with a grant from the SPCA to help us with our de-sexing program to help more community cats.

Adopting is one of the best things you can do.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving feline a home. You’re also making room for another soul to be rescued.
